Happy Bastille Day!!!

My gorgeous friend Sabine is a French expat living here in Melbourne. When she suggested we dress in red, white and blue today, I definitely didn't need convincing! The only hard part was narrowing down all the possible red, white and blue combinations in my closet - in the end I couldn't choose just one, I will let you decide!!
Vintage sailor inspired blue and white dress (how could I pass this one up?) tights and shoes from Kmart
Red, white and blue striped blouse - I love this so much, it was given to me as part of a vintage swap with The Vintage Year - thank you honey!!!!
Skirt from South Melbourne market and vintage shoes (believe it or not, I'm looking at the camera for once)

Hope you are having a super day, pop on some red, white and blue!

I've only just discovered your very sweet blog through Suzie. Being a lover or vintage and loving a boy who is vegan I'll definitely be back to visit soon!

P.S. I vote for the vintage sailor outfit!

No. 1 looks very pretty but No. 2 is somehow more French!

Ooh! I wore almost the exact same dress as the top one today, except mine had white polkadots on it.
The red tights are a fantastic addition. I may just steal that idea :)

and now i am wishing i didn't get rid of my red tights in a recent closet cleanse. i think i was thinking i was too old for them. too old? a moment of insanity!
